Me-CBOURKE, August 15. A warrant has been issued for the arrest of :i man named Landeselt, who i-s alleged to have committed a, series of commercial feuds. Numbers of firms are said to have been victimised to the tune of several thousand pounds in. making advances on purchases of bogus cargoes of goods.
THE AUSTRALIAN MUTUAL PROVIDENT.
Sydney, August 15. The ballot on the question of starting an officers' pi'ovident fund in connection, with the Australian Mutual Provident Life Association lias resulted in the scheme being carried b,y a majority o£ 15,000. Mr. " Mcllhone havs protested against the method of carrying out the ballot, and will take the case into the Equity Court in order to test its legality.
