THE HUGHES-HALLETT SCANDAL.
[press association.] London, August 6. In the House of Commons an attempt was made to revive the Hughes-Hallett scandal, on a motion for the expulsion of the member for Rochester from the House, but the Chairman of Committees declined to allow the motion to be tabled.
