BANK ROBBERS.
AN AUDACIOUS ATTEMPT.

Melbourne, July 9. Three men attempted to rob the Bank of Australasia, Collins - street, this morning. Two of them attracted the attention of the clerks by jostling customers, whilst a confederate attempted to take some bundles of notes containing fifteen hundred pounds from the counter. %The attempt, however, was unsuccessful, and upon the plan failing the gang decamped.
