TYPHOID AT TIMARU.
[BY TELEGRAPH.PRESS ASSOCIATION. Timaru, Monday. Two cases of typhoid have been reported to the Borough Council by the Board of Health, and to-night one terminated fatally. A drain through a small paddock is suggested by the Health Officer as the possible source of danger. A councillor stated that cows were depastured there, and their milk sold in town, though the water they had to drink in the drain " was as full of typhoid as it could stick."
