THAMES HARBOUR BOARD.

UNABLE TO MEET LIABILITIES. [by TELEGRAPH.own CORRESPONDENT. ] Thames, Tuesday. At the Harbour Board meeting to-day the following resolution was carried :—" That, owing to the curtailment of the limits of the port of Thames, and the consequent reduction in the Board's revenue, it is unable to pay the coupons, which became due on the Ist inst., on money lent by the Government from the Post Office Department, and therefore the Government must be prepared to accept the responsibility."
