Edward Landarf, a passenger for Melbourne by the Mararoa, was arrested here by Sergeant Fickle, on a Dunedin warrant, charged with obtaining goods under false pretences. He will be remanded north tomorrow. The Bluff police deserve credit for having arrested three runaways in as many weeks. The barquentine Annie Bow, from the Bluff to Adelaide, with timber, put back yesterday, owing to her having lost her deck cargo, and tho refusal of the men to do duty. The vessel is not damaged, but the men got scared, and compelled the captain to return to the Bluff.
