[BY TELEGRAPH. —PRESS ASSOCIATION.] Dcnedin, Tuesday. The Hon. G. McLean authorises the Daily Times to contradict the report that he has asked the Ministry to appoint him as AgentGeneral, and states he has made no application of any kind to any member in connection with the position.
