FATAL BOAT ACCIDENT.
[BY TELEGRAPH. —PRESS ASSOCIATION.] Wellington, Friday. A settler at Pahiatu named George Howell was drowned in the Mangatamoko River yesterday while crossing in a boat. He was paddling with one oar and overbalanced himself, and was washed down the stream.
