DISASTROUS EXPLOSION.
EIGHT PERSONS KILLED. thirtylnjured. [press association.] Nβ w York, May 7. A collision occurred between two freight trains on the PhiladelphiaReading Railway line, when a van load of gunpowder exploded. Seventeen houses in the vicinity of the line were wrecked; eight persons were killed, and thirty injured.
