The little child, son of Mr. Turner, of Ponsonby, who was accidentally scalded on Tuesday, died of its injuries early yesterday morning. There will be no inquest, as Dr. Tenncnb will furnish a certificate as to cause of death. The first monthly cattle sale was held at Mititai last Saturday, and was on the whole pretty successful, some fifty or sixty head of cattle and a few sheep being yarded.
