Amongst the candidates who have passed the first section for B.A. are : J. A. Tripe and E. M. Krull, of Wellington. Mr. C. J. Cooke, Awahuri, is ordered to be reported to the Minister of Education as having passed the examination for a teacher's certificate, class C. J. C. Webb, Wellington, has passed the first examination for the degree of bachelor of laws. The John Tinline scholarship goes to 0. J.
