THE STEAMER BAYLEY IN A STORM.
[BY TELEGRAPH. —PRESS ASSOCIATION".] Wellington, Friday. The Colonial Union Co. 's steamer Bayley, from Napier has arrived. She experienced very boisterous weather on the passage, and during a heavy sea had two or three boats carried away. As showing the force of the gale it may be stated that the iron stanchions of the davits were snapped clean away.
