THE NORSE WOOD FIRES.
[BY TELEGRAPH.—PRESS ASSOCIATION.] Wang a u Thursday. A public meeting was held to-night to consider the best means of assisting the Norsewood settlers. A committee was formed to canvas town for subscriptions. Messrs. Ballance and Hutchison, M. H. R., His Worship the Mayor, and a number of other influential gentlemen were present.
