London, February 24. _ New Zealand wheat, long berry, is realising 33s 6d to 345. Leather is advancing. Metals are quiet, without any apparent change. At the colonial wool auctions, 10,800 bales were ottered. The sales close tomorrow, and the next series will open on April 5. London, February 26. The highest price quoted for New Zealand butter is 112s, and the lowest 30s. Cheese is quoted at from 34s to 50s. The wool sales have closed firm, and prices generally are about level to those obtained at the December sales, except in the case of good greasy combing and tine crossbreds, which were slightly higher, while low faulty merinos are id to Id better. Durum- the series, 270,000 bales were catalogued, of which number 27,000 were withdrawn. 158,000 bales were purchased for export. Corrugated iron remains firm at £16 10s per ton, firm.
