Prizes : First, trophy, £20; second, trophy and £10.Spit, 39 2-sth sec, 1 ; Dunedin Railway, 44 2-sth sec, 2; Caversham, 45sec ; South Dunedin, 45 4-sth sec; Napier, 46 2-sth sec; Port Chalmers, 46 3-sth sec ; Gore and Gordon, 47 4-sth sec; Christchurch, 48sec; Wellington, 48 2-sth sec ; . Wanganui, 51sec; Gisborne, 52sec; Timaru, Roslyn, Dunedin City, and Rangiora, disqualified. _ , Consolation Event; 5 men, manual engine. — Gore and Gordon, lmin, 1; Roslyn, lmin 6 and 2-sth sec, 2. Most of the representatives left for home this evening. At the Fire Brigade Conference this morning, the question of next meeting place was considered. It was stated that arrangements would probably be made for holding the next assemblage at Invercargill. It was decided that at future competitions Blucher boots, with strap and buckle, must be worn, and the standard weight of helmet was reduced to l|lb.
