There were in the lock-up last evening two persons for drunkenness, Henry Cumraings, on a charge of lunacy ; and Eliza Cuthbert, for larceny of a table bell, for which an owner is wanted.
At the late Thomas Short's, the first annual sale is now being held, and a great clearance of all the prints in stock is being made. We noticed a largepile for 2*d per yard; all others are reduced in uroportiou.
