STEAMBOAT TRAFFIC STOPPED.

London, January 11. A dense fog, whioh prevailed throughout the greater part of the United Kingdom to-day, seriously interfered with business, and several accidents and fatalities have been reported. Steamers plying between Folkestone and Boulogne had to cease running, in consequence of the fog.
