ABBOTT'S OPERA HOUSE.

"Human Natore" was reproduced for the last time on Saturday night at the Opera House by Mr. Leitoh's Company, after a successful run of a week, daring which the company had, by repeated rehearsals and performances, overcome the difficulties which surrounded the placing of such a heavy production in the way of scenic effects and sanitations! tableaux on the stage effectively. Saturday night'* performance was one of the most successful since the play was staged, the principal performers were repeatedly ipplauded and called before the curtain, us, lmtch's benefit. Tonight's performance will be the last In Which the company appears in Auokland, and a great double bill will be produced for the benefit of that sterling comedian, Mr. George Leitch. The pieoes are the great suecess of the previous week, '' arbour Lights," and "Tin!) Librarian." The former, which has been no recently before the publio, was the moit successful draw ever staged In New Zealand, and Mr. Leitoh's brilliant acting as Quartermaster, "Tom Dossiter," never fail ed to bring down the house. When added to this the audienoo will have the opportunity of renewing their acquaintance toith the ''Rev. Mr. Sparerib," and "The Good Young Man who Died," they may oaltulateon * double treat of no ordinary magnitude, and we. predict a crowded audience as a just recognition of Auckland's appreciation of Mr, Leitoh's merits as an aotor. We

may just mention that the cutlass drill in " Harbour Lights" will be performed by a* party of seamen from H.M.a. Diamond, now 1 in port, and the trophies given by Mr. Leitch to the volunteers who performed in " Human Nature, 1 ' will be presented during the evening."
