[BY TELEGRAPH.—OWN CORRESPONDENT.] Tk Aroha, Friday. Much dissatisfaction prevails here with re» gard, to the negleot of Te Aroha in the Publio Works -Estimates, while the large sum of £3000 is set down for improvements at the Rotorua baths. This grievance coming so soon after the stoppage of the daily train and postal services, hau created a strong feeling of discontent. Communications have been addressed to several members of the House, requesting them to use their efforts to procure a meed of justice lor this district. A Masonic hall is about to be erected here, a suitable site for the purpose having been obtained.

The new Prospecting Association is regarded with considerable favour. A large number of shares have now been taken op, and it is likely that in a very short time active operations wi.U be commenced.
