FIRE AT WAIROA SOUTH.

A FIRK broke out at Walroa South on Wed. nesday morning, which totally destroyed a barn and cow-ehed, the property of Mr. George Monro. When Mr. Munro and hie family retired to bed everything seemed to be safe, and there was no sign of fire ; but when they got up in the morning the build ings, which were some distance from the dwellinghouse, were all destroyed. Besides the buildings Mr. Munro loses a> cart and spring trap, anumber of farming implements, and other property, and unfortunately he was not insured. The origin of the fire is so far unaccountable, exoept on the theory that some person went into the shed to sleep, and carelessly dropped a lighted match amongst the straw.
