SERIOUS BUGGY ACCIDENT.

|BY TELEGRAPH.—OWN CORRESPONDENT.] Hamilton, Thursday. A. serious bnggy accident occurred about •ix o'clock this evening. Mrs. Gwynne and Mra. Carr, of Auckland, were driving in a light-hooded buggy, intending to cross the bridge into Eist Hamilton. On going down the hill past the English Church the horse became unmanageable, and bolted down the unformed road, past the police station, towards the river. When opposite Mr. Calder wood's place the buggy upset, and both ladies were thrown out. No limbs were broken, but both were severely shaken. A number of persons were quickly on the spot and restoratives were applied. A buggy VB3 obtained, and the two ladies were conveyed to the hotel, where they were attended to by Dr. Mnrch. The buggy was but little injured, and the horse not at all.
