London", December 13, The Scottish and Queensland Mort« gage Company offer a further issue of 5000 shares, calling up £1 per share. The prospectus of the New Zealand Gold Extraction Company, with a capital of £100,000, has been issued. The object of the company is to work the Newbery-Vautin process in New Zealand.
Mr. Harold Sewell has been appointed Consul at Apia for tho United States.
H.M. s. Orlando, the new flagship for the Australian Station, will b9 ready for commission in January.
