SUPREME COUR i'.—Civil Sittings. Monday. [Before His Honor Mr. Justice Ward.] Geo. Khddks v. Ke<4K.—Claim, that an agreement lie declared cancelled, Mr. Theo Cooper for the plaintiff and Mr, E. fleskeih for the defence. The evidence of the following witnesses was taken: - William Ransom, Thomas Kelly, George Piaml)er, William Craig, Judson, and James Baity. The last witness examined for the plain was Mr. Galbraith, assayer, who gave the results of the experiments he had made. He had an apparatus prepared, and Mr. Cooper applied that it should be exhibited to toe jury. Mr. Hesketh, however,objected a* there were some arrangements connected with this apparatus of which they bad no knowledge. He had no objection to their seeing t;he lights at Mr., Parceil'a shop. The depositions or Mr. Jonn Ohantrey Hairis, proprietor of the New Zealand Timet, Wellington, also those of Mr. G. S. Cooper, Under-Secretary, Colonial Secretary's Office, takeD at Wellington, were read. Mr. Cooper at this stage said he would defer closing the case for the plaintiff until next morning. The Court was then adjourned Until ten o'clock next morning.
