[by telegraph.—own CORRESPONDENTS.] Te Akoha, Monday. George Read, who expired at the residenoe of Mr. Adams yesterday, was buried at the cemetery to-day. The funeral was very largely attended. The other sufferer, Thos. Scott, is progressing favourably. The greatest dissatisfaction is expressed here with the railway time-table that it to come into force on the 10th instant. An indignation meeting was held to-day, and resolutions ware passed condemnatory of this action of the railway authorities just as summer is setting in and a busy season at hand. Representations on the matter will be forwarded to Wellington.

Tawhaio ha* arrived here, and will stay for it ftime to take the baths. Hamilton, Monday.
