London, September 29. Consols remain at lOlf. The Bank of England weekly returns show the total reserve in notes and bullion to be 1,900,000, & decrease of £200,000 during the week. The proportion of the reserve to liabilities is 44 per cent. The Bank rate of discount remains at 4 per cent.; the market rate at o|. Colonial breadstuff's and tallow are without quotable change. At the wool auctions to-day 10,200 bales were ottered, making a total of 218,000 submitted during the series. There was a fair demand. The withdrawals to date amount to 28,500 bales.
