Peeress has been scratched for botfc the Caulfield and Melbourne Cups. THE MELBOURNE GRAIN MARKET. Melbourne, September 18. The manager of the National Mortgage Agency Company of New Zealand, reports as follows of the local grain market:—Shipping wheat is 3s 6d to 3s Bd. Sales are only effected with difficulty. In malting barley there is no material change (if anything weaker), at 5s to 6s. New Zealand oats, feeding sorts, 2s 9d to 2s lOd , milling oats, 2s lOd to 2s lid; New Zealand oats under bond are weak at 2s to 2s Id. THE WAIHORA. Melbourne, September 27.
