The New Zealand champion has two boats of his own, both made by Swaddle and Wimhip, Newcastle-oa-Tyne, which he proposes taking with him, bnt it is hia intention to row the race in a skiff to be built either by Donnelly and Sullivan, of Sydney, or some other wellknown firm there. Had time permitted the boat would have been ordered from home.
