HE DENIES THE ACCUSATIONS, ' • [keuter's telegram.] \ ( London, September 21. The Pall Mall Gazette further accused Colonel Hughes-Hallett of embezzling Miss Selwyn's money, which he afterwards reimbursed, and also accused the Government of intending to disregard! the whole matter. Colonel Hallett denies the accusation. He states that! Miss Selwyn is no relation to him, and', that he has no step-daughter, as hisj present wife is his first wife.
