VOLUNTEER INTELLIGENCE.
[FROM OCR OWN CORRESPONDENT. J Hamilton, Friday. The class firing of the Hamilton Light Infantry Volunteers was continued to-day under Captain Reid, as on previous occa■ions, the ranges being 100 and 200 yards, ten shots at each range. The weather was suitable, and the scores were as follow: — Private James Tristram, 62; Bandmaster Monro, 60; Bandsman Parr, 56 ; Private James Calderwood, 53 ; Sergeant Kelly, 52 ; Sergeant Connolly, 52; Corporal Hooper, 47; Private Missen, 44 Bandsman H. Smith, 42 ; Bandsman Tucker, 42 ; Private Andrews, 38; Reid, 30 ;R. J. Edwards, 29; and Scorgie, 23.
