SUPREME COURT.—Jddgk's Chambers, [Before Hie Honor Mr. Justice Ward.] JPeobatk.—Probate was granted in the will of Charles Watkinson on the motion of Mr. Keetley, and in the will of Thomas Herbert Biggs on the motion of Mr. Earl. Administration.—On the motion of Mr. Theo. Cooper, letters of administration were granted In the estate of Thomas Milne Machattie, and it was ordered that one surety be sufficient. Jackson v. McGregor. — Mr. Theo. Cooper moved for leave to issue a writ of summons. The cause of action was for money lent and professional services £167 6s Bd. Leave was granted on the usual bond being entered into under rule 53 —statement of defence to be filed on 12th of September, and trial to take plaoe on 21st September.

POLICE COURT.— Toksday. [Before D. B. McDonald, Esq., J.P.. Drunkrnnbss.— Annie Dunn was fined 5a and costs for being drunk io Queen street. She wae also charged with using indecent language. Prisoner denied the charge, but Constable McCoy proved the offence, and the Bench sentenced her to one month's imprisonment, The Alleged Jewellkry Robbery.— The three men Ctune who had been remanded on this charge, were again brought up, and on the application of Sergeant Pratt, who stated that a summons had been lent on Monday to Fiji for the attendance of the owner of the property, Mrs. Anson, a further remand was granted to the 30th instant.
