SPORTING.
Entries for the Jubilee Cap Stakes, to be run at Plumpton Park, and for a trotting taatoh, wore received at the Queen's Ferry Hotel by Mr. Walluutt, secretary of the coureing club last night. There were 27 entriea for the Jubilee Oup and four for the Trotting Match. It was determined to postpone the meeting from Tuesday, the 2let, to Wednesday, the 22nd, in order not to clash with the Onehunga races, and also to leave the Trotting Match open for further entries. The five-mile road race for amateurs, which is to be run on Jubilee Day from Onehung* to Paruell, has attracted a large number of competitors, and last evening the handicappers, Messrs. W. W. Eobinson and A. H. Cotter, iesued the following list of allowances : — J. A. Stewart, scratch ; M. Reefe, \ra\n; J. Lecky, l^min: J. Otway, 2Jmin; A. Stewart, 3min; J. Shiels, 3£tnin; J.
