The Takapuna Jockey Club meeting, which takes place to-morrow, promises to furnish a capital afternoon'* sport, and will no doubt draw a large attendance, as the gatherings at the " marine suburb" are, without doubt, the most popular of the country meetings held in this province. The programme to be gone through is a lengthy one of eight events, and the character of the entries and acceptances that have been received should furnish some excellent raciDg.
