[BY TELEGRAPH.—OWN CORRESPONDENT.] Paei{oa, Saturday. The Hod. Mr. Larnach, accompanied by Mr. Porter, is expected to-morrow (Sunday). The polling for the £7300 loan took place to-day. The results, bo far as in, are :— Paeroa, number on roll 99, for proposal 24 ; against 5 ; informal 1. The roll used was a scratch one, prepared for the occasion, and is declared illegal, not having passed through the statutory form 3. No less than 53 names of persons dead or out of the district were on the Paeroa roll. A terrible accident befel a little girl belonging to Mr. Mcore, of Bangiora, yesterday. She got her left arm jammed in the cog wheels of a chaffcutter, inflicting terrible injuries?. It is possible that tho arm may have iP'T'a amputated. ,
