■» New Zealand Herald Office, Tuesday evening. The Customs duties to-day amounted to £2094 ISs 6d. There were several auotion sales announced for to-day :—Messrs. B. Tonks and Co. sold a quantity of pressed bricks, white bricks, fancy ditto, drain pipes, traps, etc., at Boyd's Pottery. There was a fair attendance, and the prizes realised were moderately satisfactory. Mr. F. G. Jones held a sale of bankrupt stock of wines, etc., and paperhangings. Messrs, Arthur and Buddie sold a quantity of apples, pulp fruit, bananas, etc. Mr. D. F. Evans sold furniture, etc., and at each sale there were very good attendances, and satisfactory prices were realised. The sale of the Rosebank property, announced for to-day, by Messrs.
