GRAND LODGE OF NEW ZEALAND, 1.0.0. F., A.C.

SECOND DAY. The session resumed in the Star of Auckland's lodgeroom yesterday morning, G.M. Bro. Williams presiding, lher'e was a full attendance of representatives. The minutes of the previous meeting were read and confirmed. On the motion of Bro. Medley, seconded by Bro. Macfarlane, it was resolved, "That the Grand Lodge Executive endeavour to arrange the complaints of members in Victoria who have left this colony by clearance.' The G.M. Elect made the following appointments Grand Chaplain, Bro. Lane, of Oamaru ; Grand Marshal, Bro. Hamilton, of Wellington ; Grand Conduotor, Bro.Fyfe, of Timaru ; Grand Guard, Bro. Ward, of Geraldine ; Grand Herald, Bro. Morrison, of Auckland. The usual honorarium was voted to the caretaker. G.M. Bro. Williams having referred to the proper mode of procedure m conferring the G.L. degree, thanked the officers and representatives of the Grand Lodge for the hearty and able manner in which they had supported him daring the session. In no previous session had so much important business been got through in such a short time, and he did not consider it had been done in a hurried manner at all. .Every opportunity had been given for debate, and it had been availed of by the representatives. As a result, the representatives would have the greater part of the day to see the beauties of the beautiful city of Auckland. The elective officers returned thanks for their election. On the motion of Bro. Gourley, seconded by Bro. Macfarlane, it was resolved, "That a hearty vote of thanks be accorded to the Grand Master, Bro. Williams, for the zeal shown by bim in extending the Order during his term of four years. G.M. Bro. Williams moved, Bro. Alexander seconded, and it was carried unanimously, "That the thanks of the Grand Lodge of New Zealand be tendered to the officers and members of the Star of Auckland Lodge for their kind reception, and their general courtesy to the officers and representatives during their stay in Auckland, and that such resolution be recorded in the minutes of the Grand Lodge." On the motion of Bro. Watfen, seconded by Bro. Hamilton, it was resolved, "That a vote of thanks be recorded in the minutes to the local Press for publishing the proceedings of the Grand Lodge." A vote of thanks was passed to P.G. Bro, Wathen for reporting the proceedings of the session. P.G M. Bro. Gourley officiated as Installing Officer, and the elected officers were duly installed. Some matters of routine having been passed, the Grand Lodge adjourned sine die.
