(REUTER's TELEGRAM. Melbourne, March 16. At a cricket match at Sandhurst, between Shaw and Lilly white's Team and Eighteen of Bendigo, the latter, in the first innings, made 235 for 12 wickets. Later. The cricket match, Shaw-Lilly white's team v, eighteen of the Bendigo district, was resumed at Sandhurst to-day. The home team, who yesterday lost 12 wickets for 245 runs, continued the innings. Out of 346 Boyle contributed 115. The Englishmen then went to the wickets. When the stumps were drawn they had lost six wickets for 283. The final match between the ShawLillywhite team and Eleven of Combined Australia has been abandoned, owing to several New South Wales cricketers being unable to play.
