VOLUNTEER INTELLIGENCE.
Naval Artillery Battalion.—The inspection parade of the Naval Artillery Kattalion was hold in the Drill-shed last night, when there was a good turn out of the corps comprising this division of the garrison. Captain-Commandant Leßoy was in comiftaud. After the usual formations the parade was taken over by the commanding officer, and exercised in a number of battalion manoeuvres, in which considerable proficiency was shown.
Sin Geokge Whitmore.—Major-General Whitinore has returned from his visit to Kussell, where he interviewed Admiral Tryon. The nature of the interview has not transpired, as it is understood to be strictly of a private character. The Nelson is expected here on Tuesday morning, and Sir George Whitmore will await her arrival till that day.
