It is on the tapis that a cricket match will be played on Saturday afternoon next between the masters of the ti'ff-ren' v-asels in part and an eleven selected from H.M. Customs. Remembering the great interest these matches created in past seasons, to doubt the proposed one will prove equally as attractive. The steamers Gieoelg and Waitaki, both from Whangarei, arrived in harbour yesterday morning early with cargoes of coal. The s.s. Waihora resumed her voyage from Eraaell to Sydney yesterday afternoon.
