Yesterday the barque Dr. Mezzger entered outwards at the Customs for Paget Sound. A* already stated, the barque goes there to load timber for Melbourne. The barque Laira, at present landing a cargo of coal from Newcastle, has been chartered to load at this port for London, and she is to commence taking in her cargo, following the barque Merope. The Laira has not only been chartered for the voyage home, but has also been engaged to bring out a. cargo to the Bluff, under the auspices of the Now Zaaland Shipping Co. The brfgantine Myrtle left Ruisell for Hobart OD Thursday last, with a cargo of timber. The brigantine Linda Weber left Dunedin for this port yesterday morning, with a full cargo of grain, etc. The brigantine Ada C. Owen is to sail to-day for Rarotonga. with a small general cargo, with which she cleared outwards at the Customs yesterday. The cutter Rose, from Whangarei, arrived yesterday, with a cargo consisting of 45 torn coal.
