CHRISTCHURCG WOOL SALES.
[B? TELEGRAPH. — PRKSS ASSOCIATION.] Chrisxchdkch, Friday. Thk New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company report their opening wool sales to-day. There was a good attendance of buyers, spirited competition, and most satisfactory prices were secured. 894 bales were brought forward, of which 763 found buyers up to ten pence and two fifths of a penny for greasy halfbred, and 9d for merino and crossbred. Scoured crossbred made 13d, halfbred 161, merino 17Jd. The wools generally were light and in good condition.
