Tauranga, Tuesday. Mb. Br/RNETT held his first meeting in the Temperance Hall on Saturday night, when a considerable number were present. After the leoture, the "bit of blue" was pinned on to upwards of 25 of the audience. On Sunday morning Mr. Burnett preaohed an earnest sermon in the Presbyterian Church. At three o'clock in the same ohurob, Mr. Burnett held a servioe for children and youths, when a large number donned the "blue." In the evening he preaohed in the Wesleyan Church. Mr. Burnett addressed the natives in the Native Courthouse yesterday afternoon ; Arohdeaoon Clark acted as interpreter. Most of the natives present donned the " bit of blue." To-day, Mr. Burnett held a native meeting at Maungatapu, which was largely attended by the Maories. Mr. Burnett holds a final open air meeting to-night prior to his departure to-morrow for Auckland, en route for the West Coast. Altogether, the result of the mission has been that about 80 natives and 100 Europeans have donned the blue ribbon.

About 120 tons of pipes for the Rotorua Waterworks have arrived here, and drays an now conveying them thither as •peodUj as possible.
