TENDERS FOR THE MAIL SERVICES.
[BY TELEGRAPH. —PEKSS ASSOCIATION.] Wellington, Monday. The Postmaster-General has been through nearly all the tenders for the new mail services. The tenders on the whole have been plentiful, and a saving of £2000 for the year is likely to be effected. In some cases tenders have not been received, and the existing services will be renewed. In other cases where the tenders are high, lower prices will be insisted upon.
