[«T IKLEOBUH. — ASSOCIATION.] Wellington, Saturday. 1m Customs revenue collected in the colony for the first half of the financial year is £647,598 H> sd, being £57,401 5s 7d below the Treasurer's estimate for that period. The beer duty for the six months was £22 834 6l 9d, being a deficit of £4065 13s 3d cm the estimate. The Customs revenue for September at the principal ports . was :-. Anoklind, £27,574 10s 6d; Wellington, ■ff.l 006 14s 2d ; Lyttelton and Christchurob, £17*235 9s 0d ; Dunedin, £29,330 10s lid. The total for the colony shows a decrease of eleven thousand odd on September last year, and an Inoreaw of over £5000 on last month. The beer duty collected at the principal towns was Auckland, £776 6s lQd > Wei* lington, £455 13* 8d ; 6hristoh.urch, £706 6s 4d g ; Dnnedin, £793 2s 9d : total for colony £3734 lid 4d, being an increase of £300 on the previous month, and a decrease of £300 on September last year.
