TE AROHA DOMAIN BOARD.

iBY TELEGRAPH.OWN CORRESPONDENT.] Te Aroha, Monday. At the monthly meeting of the Domain Board on Saturday evening telegrams were read from the Under-Secretary for Lands relative to Professor Cadman's appointment, and to advertising in the Domain, matters on which the views of the Government evidently do not harmonise with those of the Board. A telegram from the same Depart, ment was read re the application for a grant of money to carry out the improvements at the baths. The Hon. the Minister regrets that the state of the vote for Thermal Springs will not admit of further contributions to Te Aroha. A statement of the Board*B liabilities was produced by the olerk, and showed the amount of indebtednesss to be £115. A resolution was passed that all advertising be discontinued, and that further retrenchment be considered at the next meeting. The meeting was then adjourned till Tuesday evening to consider the replies to be sent to the Under* Secretary's telegrams.
