A sad misfortune has overtaken one of the' earliest settlers in this district, he having lately almost completely lost his eyesight. The sufferer. Mr. W. Blow, respected by all who know him as a thoroughly hard-work*. ing man, is the father of, I think, ten children, two of them twin babies in arms.
