BANKRUPTCY.
Adjudication. John Eaton, provision dealer, Auokland, has filed his declaration of insolvency, and the first meeting of creditors in the estate is fixed for the 26th of August, at eleven o'clock. The liabilities in the estate are set down at £1249 18a sd, all unsecured, and tbe assets consist ol stock in trade, £5 ; book debts, £2 ; and furniture, £25. The principal creditors are : Tonka and Co., £198 15s Id ; L. D. Nathan and Co., £360; R. Arthur, £186 lCs lid; Brown, Barrett, and Co., £151 19s 3d ; <>. Sibbin, £36 4s 8d ; A. Heather, £28 4s Cd ; T. H. Hall, £26 13a sd; H. Skarden and Co., £23 17s 8d ; MoGlashan, agents for Kitchen and Sons, Wellington, £3S. The remaining debts range from £21 to £3. Meeting of Creditors. The adjourned meeting of creditors in the estate of James and Annie Johnstone, hotelkeepers, Tuakau, which was to have been held yesterday, lapsed for want of a quorum.
