[reuteh's telegram,] THE WRECK OF THE LY-EE-MOON. Sydney, June 9. The Marine Board inquiry into the cause of and circumstances attending the wreck of the Ly-ee-moon commenced to-day. The evidence of Captain Webber was taken. From his statement regarding the course he had directed the third officer to steer it was elicited that the slightest deviation from the set course would result in the wreck of the vessel. In the course* of the inquiry which was being held to-day by tho Marine Board into the circumstances attending the loss of the Ly-ee-moon, after Captain Webber had given hia evidence, and during the examination, of Mr. Fotheringhain, the third officer, it was announced that the Judge had granted an injunction preventing the Board from proceeding further with taking evidence, as the deponents were under a criminal charge for manslaughter. The inquiry was consequently adjourned until Monday neit. THE WAIHORA. Sydney, June 9. The Waihora arrived last night from New Zealand.
