In the report of the City Council meeting yeiterday the resolution to send an address of congratulation to liar Mnjastjr the Queen on the attainment of tlio jubilee of her reign was statu! to have been sacondeil by Mr. Graves Aiokin. Mr. Derore urns the seconder, anil expressed his satisfaction that the first message of congratulation should be from Auckland. Mr. Aickin closely followed Mr. Dorotfli and express similar sentiments. >
