» ■ - Debtors' Examination. Hknrich Badmgarten, of the firm of Baurogarten and Co., )ankrupts, was examined yeeterday befrte the Official Aβeignee. The firm (twr brothers) arrived in Auckland recently wth a capital of £215 and no goods, aDd *» October last took a lease of premises in Karangahape Road at a. rental of £2 per wtf k. They required more money, and borrowed on promissory notes. The business did -lot prosper, and the wholesale houses witrwhom they had been dealing having beonpressing them for the paat few weeks their oily resource was to file. The statement w* confirmed by Reuben Baunagarten, the brother and partner of the first; •witness. _____________
