THE QUEEN AND THE COLUMBINE ADVENTURE.
Tub following letter has been received by Elizabeth Mouat:—" Windsor Castle, March 27. —The Queen has been much touched by the account of tho sufferings endured by Miss Mouat, and wan pleased to leara by her brother's letter of the 130 th inst. that she ie recovering her strength. Her Majesty bas commanded Sir Henry Ponaonby to forward Miss Mouat a cheque for £'20.
